Installed RETRAX today

RETRAX installed today no problems installing looks great, i had a thread last week, was sent UPS last tuesday opened box no hardware no clamps or screws. the ND company sent the correct parts. arrived today monday
which took 6 days, i feel the hardware should have been sent express or overnight. i know UPS no weekend delivery so the parts set the weekend.
that is my rant. what are your thoughts on this . overall i like the cover thanks

Did you get the Lexan Retrax or the Aluminum Retrax Pro? Please post some pics! I am leaning towards the Retrax Pro but still too hesitant to pull the trigger. I would be interested in any of your thoughts both good and bad.

As far as the missing parts - I agree they should have done expressed delivery. For what you pay for a Retrax you should get better service. Having said that, in the grand scheme of things, the shipping issue won't matter to you months/years from now. What will matter is the performance of your cover.

I don't see why you guys think they should drop everything and send overnight when obviously it was opened during transport and that's not their fault.

Retrax makes a great product. I had one before and the only fault I had with the normal retrax one was that it rattled a bit. Next time I would get the Aluminum retrax pro. Very user friendly.

For the record, I never said they should drop everything. And if the product wasn't packaged well enough to withstand shipping, I absolutely think it was the fault of the manufacturer. It certainly isn't the fault of the customer. He paid his money and expected the item to arrive ready for install. If that didn't happen, overnighting missing parts is far from unreasonable.

retrax

For the record, the rails were sent in a seperate box that had the silver retrax p/n much concern that i was sent the silver and not retrax one. which this box had no hardware checked and inspected by tracey. i say the the hardware was never placed in the box. the box with the canister had the right p/n and i was glad that this was the correct order. i knew i would receive the parts that was not the problem, i still beleive they should have expressed them not UPS ground. other then that i love my new cover

For the record, these guys pack and send stuff everyday and he didn't say it wasn't packed right. I have recieved parts in Florida from them and they were totally undamaged. If you have ever worked in a retail automotive business that ships, it is tough as things get damaged sometimes no matter how you package them.

The thing is the company is paying more now due to a simple mistake and the rectified the problem at no cost to the customer, without making him jump through hoops. I think they rectified the problem and there was no need to play the blame game.

Glad you enjoy the cover.
