Two Tone Tonneau?

Here's the deal. I've got a black and charcoal truck. Black on top, charcoal on bottom. I just bought a fiberglass tonneau cover and I was thinking of painting it charcoal to match the under body of my two tone truck.

Suggestions? Anyone done this? Would it look gay?

It wouldn't look right if it was charcoal. I vote Black also.

I like two tones, so I vote charcoal.. then again I don't play well with others.

I'm with you Dave, I'm leaning towards charcoal. I guess if I don't like it, I can always paint it black.

negative on the two tone. Looks like you got it from another truck and were too cheap to paint it!

This was my 06 FX4 Flareside which I had the tonneau painted to match the trim. I always received a lot of positive comments

YUUUMMM! That does look very attractive. Thanks for making my decision for me veloce. Even though I was biased on painting it my trim color anyways, I like that allot.

I think the angle of that photo is more forgiving of how it would look on a cloudy day, or even at dusk. I'm with Smokey on the "too cheap to paint it" look. To each his own. I'd paint it black. Better flow.

Depends if you want to accent it, or hide it. Easy choice, once you decide what you want to do. I would match the black box color. Please post some pics when you get it done with your choice.

Getting closer and closer to leaving Afghanistan and if I can remember I will post some pictures when I get it painted. Going to paint it DSG. Sorry to dissapoint some of your nay-sayers. But it's my party and I'll cry if I want to.
