Bakflip F1
I just bought one a month ago. did the install myself. took a lot of time to make it fit perfect. I have a boxliner so I had to cut the liner both sides at the front, and 2 places on the tailgate. took me a total of 2 hours and I'm very meticulous. I do love it. keep all my tools in the box. Seems to stay dry! of course it's winter, but certainly no snow gets in. I highly recommend it vs others. none other do what the backflip can do. I have already needed the whole box open which I wouldn't have beem able to accomplish with any other hard cover.
I'm not sure what you need, but in my case, I can't imagine a better purchase. Expensive at $850 but well worth it.

I had the Ford Stealer ( $1150 ouch!) install my Bakflip. really a nice way to go. Very convenient and tough. No complaints for 6 months, and weather proof so far. Another friend with a one piece fiberglass cover told me he would never do that again and the bakflip would be his choice.

I'm on my second BakFlip. I had one put on my 97 F150, and when I bought my new one I didn't hesitate to get another one. It allows me to open up the bed at 1/4 increments. When I haul the 4 wheeler I can flip it completely open and protect my rear window. I absolutely love it. It keeps everything protected and dry. My wife and I have even sat on it while watching the fireworks.
edit: Mines the g series, my bad. Carry on.
I love mine. I've had it on now for about three years with no problems. The rubber seal on the sides seems to be wearing a little bit where the panels are hinged but other than that all good. Nice and dry too.

I bought F1 Bakflip in Feb 2010 for my 2010 F150 loved it. But 11 months later it 3 of the 4 panels look 10 years old faded out. Bakflip said it was something that I put on it that did this. The only thing that I used was Turtle Ice Detailer and only once. I use Ice on my whole truck, its easy and makes it looks good with no white wax after.
Bakflip said its my fault. I would like to know if anyone else has this problem.
Bakflip told me to use "The best solution would be to use something called Black to New which is a
black polish used for rubber tires and automotive accessories."

I just picked my 2011 F-150 and the first thing I did was install a Bakflip F1
cover on it. It's much too early to comment on it's performance but the installation was very simple and the product seems to be well thought out.
Since I live in Canada I would advise that all the parts of the cover be brought in overnite so they function better when installing in the cold. I also would advise you to check out the installation video on You Tube.

I've had one on my 06 for just over a year and absolutely love it. Still looks factory new and as other posters have noted, it's folding nature does things others simply can't - the options are almost unlimited. And as I've noted many times before, the flexible rubber lip at the tailgate ends molds right to my Roush spoiler making for a watertight seal. I don't know of any other cover that will do that.
A great product.
A great product.

Your top is the wrong size and that first picture looks like something is on the left part of the metal hinge. You definitely need a replacement.
The design of the products are the same and it works very well.
But the HD, G2 are different then the F1.
We are talking about two different types of material on the top panels
F1 is Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer on top with aluminum paneled underside. This stays cooler than the G2 or HD in the souther summertime.
G2 and HD is aluminum paneled surface on the top and underside, which get very hot in the southern summertime to where you can hardly touch it.
My son has an HD (3 yr old) his looks fine, my co-worker has the G2 (14 month) his looks fine but my F1 which is newer (11 month) 3 of the 4 section look older than my sons.
I also have small splits in the surface. I wished I would have went with the HD.

Can anyone give me what widths theirs are
I called Bak and the said to pull of the plastic piece that suppose to act like shim on the rail for the cover that buts up against the bed. Well when I did that the rail it angled way up on the bed.
