Ford folding tonneau

I picked up my 2010 FX2 and worked the deal with the ford folding tonneau included in the deal. I had it installed today and I think the dealer messed up. When I go to flip it up against the back of the cab there are no rubber pads to rest it against. This would scratch the cab if I ever tried to travel with it like this. This has to be wrong doesn't it?

yeah it should have came with 3 foam/rubber pads that stick on to the underside of that particular panel that folds up against the cab. If the dealer doesn't have them for you, I'm sure if you contact Bakflip they will send you some for free.

also if you have the sliding rear window, the panel's foam pads should just touch the black trim that goes around the window rather than touching the actual cab/paint or the window glass. That's how mine is and I've driven a few times with the cover folded up and didn't notice any damage.

Thanks I don't have the rear window but I know what you are talking about. I will call either bakflip or the dealer and have them send them to me. I am frustrated with the dealer as it is obvious that this would scratch the truck. I bet they were included with the cover and the guy doing the install didn't know what they were for so he threw them away.
