BedRug inquirers info...

Hey Ya'll .

Just thought I would post some info for those of you that may be wondering if the BedRug is durable or not.

So far with mine I have hauled all kinds of fencing materials, retaining wall blocks, and pallets of other building materials. I have also had it loaded full of sand, dirt, and rock/gravel not bagged but scooped and dumped so I had to shovel it all out. After all the above this BedRug has proven its self worthy.

All I have to do is either shop-vac it out or pressure-wash it and BAM!! it's like new again.

So if any of you have pondered whether or not it can take some abuse... I can say that it can. It's delicate for your precious cargo and tough for your hearty cargo.
I'll post pics in a bit

I 100% agree!

I have a bedrug in my Ranger and my Leer cap is headlined, so the entire cargo area is nice gray carpet. The bedrug is also very cushy on your knees if you need to crawl around in the bed. (did that sound right? lol)

Here's some links to my bedrug pics:

Love mine, too. And like the OP I've hauled all kinds of different things with it. Plus, it's comfy to sleep on at long weekend races when I don't feel like putting a tent up or sleeping in the smelly trailer.

We put one in our 04 as soon as we got it and it is still to-date our favorite mod. I have one for the 2010 sitting in the garage just waiting for me to install it.

FYI, add one to your shopping cart on Amazon and leave it there. Check the price every day. One day I got lucky and it had dropped to $321 w/ free shipping. I ordered it that day (which is why it is sitting in my garage).

My tailgate piece is thin as well. It is the same thickness as the side walls. I have been debating on what would make a good padding underneath. I really only want it thicker because I sit on the tailgate a lot, and a little extra cushion wouldn't be so bad.

The one on my '04 doesn't have foam on the tailgate portion. I wish it did though.

Bedrug claims them to be waterproof and stain resistant.

Love mine, but it is under a lid. Don't know how I lived without it.

not sure about animal blood but I have spilled a little transmission fluid on it and it cleaned up like new with the pressure washer.

I had a few cups of pool chlorine leak from the bottle and although it made the bed smell like a public pool, it left no bleach stain. I waited weeks for the smell to dissipate and washed the bed out. I wasn't too sure how the paint would hold up to the fresh chlorine otherwise, but the BedRug looks absolutely brand new.
