Just bought my new bakflip G2 a week ago and its pouring outside this weekend. Long story short I opened the cover and about 1 or 2 inches from the rail drain nipple, the water was coming straight thru the rail dumping right into my bed...Any ideas on how to fix this and has anyone else had this problem? I even weather stripped all the open areas around the cover...so theres no water leaking into it from the top its leaking from the rail before it even gets to the drain tube. its almost like theres a hole in the rail before the nipple?

 

I doubt there is a hole in the rail itself, but you can take a cup of water and dump it in the rail channel and see.

it might be just leaking in between the Bakflip (BF) rail and the factory bed rail cap. Where exactly did you install extra weatherstripping? None should be needed between the BF rail and factory rail cap. The BF rail should be tight against the factory rail cap, and then make sure your rail clamps are evenly spaced out. You should have a clamp right near the drain tube collector box.

or are sure the BF rail is not bent or kinked in that area which prevents it from sitting tight against the factory bed rail cap? on rare occasions I hear of guys receiving bent rails that were damaged during shipping.
