I have an 06 SCrew with 6.5' bed. I am going to buy a bed cover in the next week or two. i need security with a hard cover and was looking at the retrax the amount of space it takes in the bed is not a big deal to me.
Does anyone have pro's or con's on this bed cover or any other suggestions on a different brand, and most importantly does anyone know where i can get one cheaper than normall.

 

Retrax is a good cover, you will be very happy with it! Here are some things to know:

It is a retractable cover, but is not spring loaded like all the other covers which is neither good or bad, just different. You can move the cover into any position and lock it into place. The Lexan slats are very UV resistant. The cover can take 200 pounds, but I suggest you not stand on it. It's available in black, silver (new), and an electric model is available. As far as retractable covers go, Retrax is one of the least expensive.

Now, here the important part. There's a Retrax to dealer deal going on for Feb and March only. If the dealer will pass along at least some of the savings to you, you can get a really good deal on a Retrax. The dealer must sell at least two on one order to get the special discount though.
