Smile Undercover cover Warranty Support

I have had my Undercover cover since late September. To date, I am very pleased with it. It is secure and I have had NO water inside the bed, even when tilting it open when wet.

Yesterday I first unlocked the left lock but was unable to unlock the right lock. I must have played with it for 30+ minutes with no luck. I quickly dropped an email to their Customer Service last evening and to my surprise, received a reply (at night) suggesting I contact one of three people today.

I called and two new matched locks are already on their way. That is exactly what I expected as a customer and I am very pleased. Thought I'd pass along a POSITIVE comment when due.

Happy New Year to all.......................................

Good customer relations posting arubba and it didn't cost you a thing to do that. The majority of the time all they hear are complaints, and some people feel that have to be some sort of macho and complain ALL the time and then wonder why they never get anywhere. You my friend, will be a well received customer for many years to come. Kuddos for your positive comments.

May you and your family have a very safe New Year.

Great to hear, I really like my Undercover as well.

But I do have one question.

If you never got the right side lock unlocked, and considering that the two locks are secured by nuts inside the cover ...
... how do you replace them? With the lip over the tailgate, how do you open the tailgate or cover with it locked down?

DRILL BABY DRILL.................................... Once the center of the lock is gone, it will open.... I just did not want to destroy it until I was sure a replacement was on its way.

I also want to add that I received a THIRD email from Undercover the following day. Seems that they were running a reduced schedule ( I assume) and my email was spotted by another employee. I responded that I had already be helped and again appreciated the follow-up.

Undercover did right by me when I had an issue with one of their products. I have the Undercover SE and am very glad I went with it and with them.
