Truck Covers USA
Truck Covers USA
Just wanted to share my experience from today with Truck Covers USA.
Two months ago I purchased their American Roll Cover. It's been fantastic up until the last few days.
There are two retractable arms on the sides of the cover that catch the different positions (every 12"). I've noticed that they haven't been coming out like they should. Upon further inspection I noticed that a metal arm that hinges back and forth to release them was bent. I'll take pictures shortly and show you guys what I'm talking about.
I sent them an email asking what my best course of action was--whether I should take priority and try to bend the piece myself with pliers or hit them up for warranty work. A lady named Kim called me back and we talked for a bit. She said it's one of two things: the strike plate or the piece that hits the strike plate. Well, I already knew the piece was bent so I told her what the problem was. She said they'd ship me out a new locking mechanism immediately!
No questions asked, I like that! I told her I have no idea how it got bent as it's in the fully closed position most of the time. I usually slide whatever I want in and out of the bed through the open tailgate. It almost has to be something I did, though, and I have no clue what it was.
I just wanted to post here with a great experience from these guys! Also wanted to bump the cover, if you will. It's been fantastic and I have only seen one or two guys with it on here.

Sorry about the nosy pup--I didn't have anywhere for her to chill while I took the pictures. So I let her snoop around in my bed. :o

TCUSA (Kim) is VERY accommodating, we've even called her on her cell phone on the weekend!
We've sold quite a few of these covers at this point and we like them. but, we see a couple of recurring problems:
1. Sometimes, the rails are not horizontal at the tailgate.
2. Sometimes, the plastic inserts at the tailgate end of the rails fall out. I suggest you check to see if ANY plastic inserts are loose. If they are, just use a little glue.

2. Will do, thank you!
