bakflip

I have not seen the bakflip HD in person but I have the bakflip G2 and the hard plastic seems to be pretty sturdy to me

Cool - I agree the plastic ones are pretty sturdy but if/when it wears out, aluminum would be a nice upgrade.

From Where did you get it? Lowest price I have found so far is on autoanything.com around $800 +

Ebay (storechampion). He's listing them at $949 but I offered less and he took it. Says they have a 100 in stock. I haven't received it yet, but talked to them today and they said it will be here by Friday.

Ok so I got the best price I am going to get for an aluminum Bakflip. $800 from storechampion, I think its pretty reasonable.

I was wondering what are the benefits to going aluminum over the regular Bakflip G2?

WemaBoss - Did you receive the cover yet? I asked the seller if it was an actual Bakflip and got no reply. Now I am questioning if its an aftermarket or replica cover.

It is a BakFlip, not a knockoff. Aluminum is stronger and I like that durability. You'll be very happy with it. I installed mine last week and it looks great and allows me to do what I want without having to remove it every time I need the box. As soon as I figure out how to post pics I'll put em up.
