? about Undercover

Can anyone that has an Undercover tell me how far down inside the bed the cover is when closed? Does it sit down below the side rails? Pics would be great.

No the undercover does not go inside of bed just over the sides and over the tailgate.

Maybe my question was confusing. I was looking at the "X" shapes inside of the cover, and wondering how far they come down inside the bed. From the pictures, it looks like they may come down past the bed rail. I was concerned because I currently have a Pace Edwards JackRabbit rolltop cover, and there are a few things I typically load for camping that come very close to rubbing the cover when I close it. I just wanted to see how far the Undercover intrudes inside the bed rails. I went to a local Line-X dealer today and looked at the floor display, and the inside was not near as thick as the pictures portray it to be. I was looking for a picture with the Undercover closed, and tailgate open to see how far it came down inside the bed.

The bottom of the Undercover when closed sits above the bottom of the bed rail by at least 1/4 of an inch.

Thanks for the responses guys. I think I have the info I need now. I will most likely go with the Undercover. I first need to get Pace Edwards to provide some warranty support for my current cover, then I can get rid of it and get the new tonneau.

1 - 2"

The underside (ribs) of my cover on 08 F150 shortbed extends about 1" below the level of the bed rails. The strut ends extend about 2" below the level of the bed rails.
