i bought a bed extender off ebay for my 03 supercrew. you can find them for 189 free shipping.

i got it in teh mail yesterday, and got it assembled in about 10 minutes. the quality seems ok.

it seems that there are mounts you screw onto the inside of the bed, then the bed extender fits into it, and there are pins with little clips that hold it in place.

its snowing its *** off here right now, so i wont get a chance to install it for a few days, but i will update this review, and add pics, for those who are contemplating getting this extender.

its a "one size fits all", and seems to be decent quality.

i had been waiting on an auction to pop up for a factory extender.. finally found one, but i set my max bid at 180, considering the price of this new one.. and i was outbid at the last second.

i figured if i was paying 180 or up, i might as well get something that i could send back for a free replacement if it was damaged or missing parts.

so far i am impressed with the quality. it looks like the angles of it might be a little better than the factory extender as far as not losing any space at the end of the bed.

i will update when the snow lets up.

but notice how its angled inward towards the back.


my universal extender isnt angled like that, and that might be the difference between someone fitting a wheeler in their 5.5 ft bed, and not fitting the wheeler..

it snowed all night so im not installing it today, but ill post pics of it sitting in my weight room.. gimme a bit

...probably to clear the wheelwells when it's folded the other way. i'm interested in how this fits. i'm looking for an extender but the oem ones are few and far between.
