bed caps

I have a 2004 FX4 with the 6.5' bed. I would love to replace the tailgate cap and side caps. The liner itself is fine. These caps are faded. I've tried everything to bring back the color and I'm convinced I just should replace them. Is it possible for me to spend under 100.00 to replace these 3 caps? If so, where? I plan on keeping the truck for another 3-4 years at least. Thanks for any info.

Umm, under $100 may not work. I'd say under $130. Check a local accessory dealer, they can get them for you.

Thats right. Krylon Fusion paints are excellent for plastics. I painted my grill, wiper cowl, and fog lamps with satin black, and this spring when it all warms up i'm painting all of my exterior trim with it because i'm sick of black wow attracting dust immediatley and fading within a week. I never primered the wiper cowl or grill, and they look perfect. No flaking anywhere.

Got it, Krylon Fusion. I would assume you removed the grill, wiper cowl and that I should remove the bed caps before painting? I'm ok with my grill, but I would love to do the wiper cowl also. Thanks for all of your help
