Bed Extender Compatability 08 to 05?

I think new aftermarket ones are in the $300-350 range, I found someone who's getting rid of the one off of their 08 for around $100.

That's a fact, the beds are the same size. If you trade in your 04-08 for an 09 you can keep your cap and put it on the 09.

you cant use your cap on it the tailgate is totally different and the back of the bed is different wont work if you look at the top of the tailgate you will notice it flairs out like a spoiler

Good catch. Even if the dimensions are the same, it may not look right.
