Yes, LINE-X can be applied to chrome. Dealer prices will vary so to find the dealers near you, go to linex.com and use the dealer locator at the top of the page.

EDIT: Wait....LINE-X's new site just popped up. OK, go to linex.com, click Bedliners, enter your zip code and press Enter (on your keyboard). I don't like that, they need a "Go" button.

Not a Ford, but this factory bumper is chrome. It now has black LINE-X Xtra along with the grill guard:

While were at it, here's the rear factory bumper:

Hey TruckGasm,

Do you know (or can you easily find out) if the Wilmington NC line-x place is still open? I've called and left a message and e-mailed them and still have got no response. Damn, I wish I lived in Texas, then my problem would be solved!

I'm assuming you can tape off and still have the factory reverse sensors working right?

I had mine done 2 years ago and I've had no problems with it. The guys applying it said it would have been much easier if I took the bumpers off first. Also, this was before the place I went to could get X-tra, so this is just regular color match which is why the color is a little off.

Since when do smilies count as images????

That doesn't look to darn bad. If I didn't have the chrome package, I think that i would seriously consider doing that to the F-150..

What's the typical charge for front and rear bumpers - without grill guard?

Also, if I wanted them black, would I go with regular Line-X or is there an Extra that is "more black"?

Yea, we prefer to remove the bumpers, we can do a better job.

Same truck as the one I previously posted, bumpers removed.

Go for it. Good idea for protection & color matching.
