I have a 2007 FX2 Screw. Was quoted $1,196 for a color matching A.R.E. today...installed.

Does anyone know if this is a reasonable price?

actually , Mine was 1,200 . I think it s the LSII I can't remember It was the best they offer !! . No trim . And I got the power lock feature . If that helps .

 

I bought mine 2 years ago and paid $1050 installed without a power lock.

 

The LSII isn't the best one we offer the LSX is. I sell the LSX with keyless entry, interior shroud and 12 volt dome light for $1149.00 and the LSII for $895.00 both are painted and installed for this price.

BlueFlareside has the LSII on his truck in the pic, and 2 years ago I sold that one for $795.00, sorry you were overcharged mightely. Right now is the time to buy ARE has a coupon on their website for $125 off the LSII or LSX either one, if you go to a participating dealer which I am.

ARE is also coming out with a new option on the LSX for the keyless entry/dome light. It is the SolARay option which is a solar powered system that requires no wiring into the trucks system to power the light and lock system. It is a nice molded in panel that follows the lines of the cover well and looks great. And yes it will work after dark the panel charges a built in battery.

 

Sorry , I couldn't remember . but that is what i have LSX w/ dome light , keyless entry and no trim on the edge . Which looks more like factory body lines than with the trim . IMO

 

Went ahead and did it. $1,125.00 drive out. Looks good to me!
