I believe that's a negative. The Xtra actually bonds with/migrates into the regular LineX at application, so I think they have to be done at the same time, so to speak. I could be wrong, but that's my understanding.

Actually, yes it can. But, best results (durability) occur when applied to a warm freshly sprayed bedliner.

How much would it cost to add to an existing bed liner 5.5 box under rail.

Truckgasm can you please send me some info on this also? My Linex has been in for about 2.5 years and I would like to spiff it up a little if possible. Thanks!

DIdn't really want to start a new threat for this.

I talked to rep at linex and they said it is best to do it at time of the coating of the linex, also how much more is it to get the extra done and is it worth it?

The old one has to be removed (major hassle and expense). Truckgasm will probably jump in and give you an idea of what kind of pain it will bring.

What's up with the old one that you want it replaced?

The answer is...depends. We strip out a lot of different bedliners. Some come out really easily, some are a royal PITA. It's dependent on how well the dealer prepped the surface and how thin/thick it is. Thinner is sometimes harder to strip than a thicker liner! There are several ways to strip a bedliner. We just bought a 4,000 psi power washer to assist with the next job.
