Pricing Info???

I am leaning towards going with a Line-X liner when I get the new truck but I thought the pricing seeed high around me. $479 and up for the Black.

It sounds like from what I have read that most are paying around $400-450 for a black Line-X for a 6.5 ft bed under the rails, correct?

Pricing is all set by the individual dealer.

You need to check out Speedliner before making a final decision on a Line-X, it is a stronger more durable material. It is sprayed just as thick but doesn't have the fading or hard-drying (becoming very hard and slick with age and curing) problems that Line-X and other hot sprays are prone to. It also has twice the tensile strength of the Line-X.

Here is a link to their site:

Speedliner shows the results of ASTM D412 for tensile strength but they do NOT show which Die was used. There are 6 different dies for this test method. So, you cannot compare results without knowing which die was used. Why did they not indicate which die was used?

But, guess what, it really doesn't matter. Tensile means pulling. ALL polyurethane/polyurea spray-on bedliner products have way beyond the tensile strength of what is adequate for a truck bedliner, which for all practical purposes, is static.

We're just talking here. I suggest you go to a LINE-X and Speedliner dealer and pic up some samples. Rub them together and report back with the results.
