Pendaliner
What would you like to know about it. I sell the skid resistor and the penda-poly. They both have the same fit and fit the best in the bed of any drop in liner. The Skid Resistor usually costs about $195.00 whereas the poly costs $129.00. They have made some improvements on the Skid Resistor that make it nicer the skid resistant surface doesn't get milky-white looking like it used to and does a better job of actually working as a skid resistant surface than before. Most of my customers go with the cheaper poly liner and if they are worried about skid resistance they put a bedmat on top of it for $59.00 and save themselves $7.00

I had a skid resistor installed a couple weeks ago. There are a few spots on
the sides where the top of the sidewall doesn't fit back underneath the bed
rails. The installer said it was because the liner was left outside in the cold
the night before and they installed it outside in 20 degree temperature. He said when the weather warms up it will fit OK. Does that sound right to you?

Sounds more like a bad install, it should go under the rail completely all the way down the sides. My liners stay outside and I install cold all winter long, to get it to go under the rail the way it should they would need to pull it back out to get it to bend up under the rail.
Penda's are great liners. Used them in my 98, 01 and 03 F150's, just didn't like the last one I bought with those rubber plugs that cover the front bed hooks. The older design used to be much better, just an adapter plate that was installed when the liner was installed...
But, never had any problems with them and I beat them up pretty good.

Took my truck back to the installer and told him I wasn't happy with the way
the liner fit. He called the supplier. They said that's the way they fit. When
the weather warms up it will relax and fit under the rails the way it should.
I told him I didn't want to wait for the weather to warm up to find out
because by then my 30 day guarantee would be expired. I wanted to return it. He said OK, but I'm going to let them take the truck tomorrow and bring it
inside to warm it up to 70 degrees and give them a chance to make it fit
right. If that doesn't work then I can get my money back. Might as well give them a chance to make it right. I do like the liner.

I had one for 24 hours then I took it back and told them to take the POS out of my new truck.
Fit was absolutely horrible. The sides flopped like a bedsheet on a windy clothesline and slapped the bedsides. The entire front had a huge bow in it.
The enormous rubber plugs that covered the front tiedowns have got to be the biggest design brainfart I have ever seen as well. They create giant voids in the corners to trap debris and the plugs themselves were too flimsy to pop in and out easily. I use my front tiedowns a lot.
I went back to the dealer and had them install a factory liner (Duraliner). The fit is perfect and it has plastic retention cups that go behind the tiedowns so that you can use them just like Ford intended you to.
The cost was about 1/3 less too.

Ditto
Ditto on Duraliner. Durakon Industries makes the OE Ford bedliner, so if I was going to put a drop-in bedliner in there, I'd use that one. I sold Penda SR for years...know those guys well...but in my opinion, the Duraliner is just as good...
Agreed the Duraliner is just as good.
I don't get alot of call for the SR since the area I am in is very price conscious and all people want to hear is the cheapest dollar amount. So I sell more of the penda-poly. Penda had alot better design when they used to cup for the tiedowns and you would take them out and put the tiedowns back on top of the liner.
If you want to see a really bad fitting liner go check out a Colonel.

The installer took my truck inside today and heated it up and they still
couldn't get the Pendaliner SR to fit right. The sides aren't tall enough to
fit up under the bed rails right. I don't know if it's because it's a flareside
or not but they said it's the first time they've had a problem like that.
They took it out and gave me my money back. So now I'll have to figure
out something else to do.
