On my 04 stx stepside, the bed rail caps have raised up a good 1/8 inch or so. It's not real noticable, but it kinda bugs me to know that it's not right. How are these caps supposed to be held down? Should I take them off and 3M them down? Any ideas would be much appreciated.

 

My '01 Supercrew is sorta the same, though mine are more like 1/2" to 3/4" off. It doesn't really bother me though but when I get a snuglid & it doesn't shut because of this then i'll care

I was gonna drill mine onto the bedliner with 1/4" screws for the best hold, but I never did, if it comes to the point that one pops out & keep popping out then i'll do it.
