I haven't had to hose it out yet, but I have hauled some dirty stuff with good results. Gravel, dirt and lumber. All I've done is jumped in the rear while doing some yard work and used a leaf blower to get some of the remnants out. Worked like a charm. The material doesn't soak up much of anything, it's my understanding it doesn't hold water at all, so getting it wet shouldn't be an issue.

I haven't had anything leak or spill, so I can't speak to stains. Hope this helps anyway.

I've done a lot of reading on them over the last couple of weeks and they claim it will resist all chemical stains, including battery acid. It also states you can power wash them. You can buy the ford branded one at http://www.fordaccessories.com. Right now they are on sale for about $365. As one of our fellow Ford friends stated in the thread, the ford branded done actually a Bedrug brand (Wise industries). http://www.bedrug.com has all the info.

Just saw your pic, thanks for sharing them. I read in one the threads that aligning the tie down screw holes was a P.I.A. How'd you go about this?

I've occasionally vacuumed mine at the local car wash, or spray it out while washing truck. A 3 minute video at www.bedrug.com disscusses all this...

Sorry for the delayed response, been tied up lately. I didn't find it to be difficult at all to be honest. Sitting in the bed with the rug bottom secured, and the sides dry fit only, I peeled each side down at the tie downs, eyeballed the screw holes, lined up an awl, pushed the sidewalls back up, gave a couple soft pokes to make sure I was lined up ok, then pushed through. I repeated the process for all 8 holes. This essentially gave me starters holes for easy install of the actual screws. I made sure I secured all 4 tie downs before securing the sidewalls of the rug, and it made for an easy install. Hope this helps.

So none of my 3 ford local dealers now what the hell i'm talking about when I ask about the bedrug. I'm currently in Atlanta, GA on Biz and I found they have about 50 dealers w/in a 60 mile radius. Can anyone recommend a dealer in the Atlanta area that may carry it? I'll just buy it and take it to Fed Ex to ship back home.

So does the tailgate section of the bedrug actually stay held down well or does it tend to want to come up? It would seem to me that it would have lots of problems with either being snagged or coming loose over time.

I have to problems what so ever. The tail gate section stays connected just fine. You just need to make sure that when you install it, to leave a little bit of slack so that the tail gate section does not want to come down/off.

Interesting... so the tailgate section and the floor are joined together?

Awesome... BTW: your truck looks sharp. I really like what you've done to it and the color you've chosen. Very sharp.

No problems at all with the tailgate section. As you may have seen, it is attached to the floor piece, which is actually a thing of beauty and avoids two edges. Also, the "Velcro" this comes with is not your everyday windbreaker velcro, it is heavy duty stuff, needs to be over 60 degrees for proper install adhesion. just leave a slight slack at the joint between floor and tailgate. This will probably bring the end of it to about 1/2" below top of inner tailgate. Unfortunately the instructions are not that great. If you could carefully study an installed one on this site or at your Ford dealership, it may help. I reinstalled my tie-downs a little differently, I carefully measured down from the top of bed rail and in from the bed end before install, then after completely installed I just used these measurement to poke around with a scratch awl or ice pick until I "felt" one of the holes, no damage and great results.
