Nice looking, but i just don't understand why someone would just use a drop in liner for cheaper.

I guess there are cheaper routes. If I was going to leave my bed uncovered, I would go something a little tougher. However, I put a Bed Rug in under my Tondeau cover, and it is gorgeous. I added a clamping rail system to hold things in pllace, and now my bed is like an adjustable sized trunk. Even my wife can use it, and it really is hot looking.

A couple of complaints for the drop in is that it is too slick, stuff slides badly and it liner shifts on the bed, scraping of paint and allows rust. A lot depends on how you use it and personal taste.

That explains exactly why I went with a Bedrug instead of a drop-in on this truck. My '02 had the factory bedliner and it was great except for those factors. Everything slid around unless it was tied down no matter how heavy it was. As for the rust factor, I know it would probably take quite a while for rust to start, but I really don't want to take that chance since I plan to keep this truck for a long time.
