LineX Bed Liner

I left a logging chain in the bed of the truck for a few days and the chain left rust marks on the LineX bed liner. Any idea on how to remove rust stains. I tried diswashing liquid and a brush, it didn't help.

Go to the store and buy some CLR cleaner or Whink rust remover. Either should do the job. Also you could try baking soda and a stiff brush and scrub a little.

Hang tight for Truckgasm to respond, harsh cleaners may make a bigger mess for you. He's a dealer and will have the best answer for you.

FX4ME2 is correct. Use CLR cleaner and a brush. It should work just right for you.

I've still got some wood stain that leaked out onto the liner and I cant get rid of it.....not really noticeable but drives me nuts....I've wire brushed it with paint thinner, engine degreaser, you name it. When they say stain they really meant it.

My dealer told me he would look at it for me but I have taken it to him yet.

Worst case scenario, if you can't get a stain out, then buy a can of Krylon Gloss Black spray paint. Apply multiple thin, light coats (don't drench the area) until the stain disappears.

Good thought...I might try that...I guess it would be less noticable than the stain.

Hi TruckGasm,
This weekend I tried the CLR on the rust stain on my Line
X and it worked great. I used a 50/50 solution.

GREAT! Now, apply some Just Once (www.justonce.com) or 303 Aerospace on the bedliner. It will help protect the surface, keep the color black, and protect it from UV rays.
