Cost of Line-X

I have a Bedrug in my 2005 SuperCab, but not certain I like it. I use the truck to haul household 'stuff'. Today I got a load of mulch. The Bedrug does not cleanup easily and I can see the pitch fork doing considerable damage to the Bedrug. I went by a Line-X dealer to check on pricing and was quoted $439. Is this a normal price? Sounds a little 'pricey' to me. What did you pay for your Line-X?

$440 w/a $20 coupon (for that dealer only) for a 6.5ft Flareside bed, under the rails option...that was in MD just a few weeks ago.

Pitch fork won't be much nicer to the Line-X than the BedRug, it will scratch and tear. I know, been there done that. Other than a drop in, the only thing that holds up to the fork is a DualComp liner - and your stuff won't slide on it. I liked it so much I joined the company.

I totally disagree. I've shoveled and pitch forked mulch out of my truck bed with no ill effects but to each his own.

I'm a LINE-X dealer. Yes, that's a good price, I'm actually a little higher.

Spray-ons are petroleum based products and you know what happened with the price of petroleum!

Go ahead, pitchfork away...

How strong is LINE-X? At a recent auto show, I applied about 1/16" to 1/8" of LINE-X on the outside (but NOT the inside) of a $3.50 styrofoam cooler and let people stand on it to see if it would break. It never broke and the most weight was 230 pounds.

I paid 399 in Annapolis, MD. I just hauled two pallets of sod on two occassion this weekend! Both were slid in by a fork lift, no scratches what so ever! Line-X rocks!

you're paying for a permanent addition to your truck...this is one mod you dont want to be bargain hunting for...as you usually get what you pay for. just my two cents.

That's crazy, I've had my Line-X for 3yrs, It's been forked, shoveled, gased, tow motor'ed (land scap blocks), etc. and after a good washing it still looks great. I don't know what you're talkin about, you can't compare a bedrug and Line-X. Then you recommend a product that is inferrior to both Line-x and bedrug?

I've been a pitchfork salesman for years. My product will tear up a BedRug, Line-X and even a DuraComp liner.

You all need to know the capabilities of the products you sell.

I do. It isn't the easiest thing selling pitchforks door-to-door. Most people don't even think they need one.
However, when I present them with the business end, they come around.

Maybe, they're just trying to get rid of me, I don't know but, it puts food on the table.

Hey the one I bought from you has yet to tear my liner. Your "company" told me I should leave these plastic tips on the forks for safety. Gotta tell ya it really hurts the performance. Its kind of like those mattress tags...I'm scared to remove them now.
