I own both.

While I do not have a truck that has both, I do own a 04 f-250 which I have the bedrug in and an 01 f-150 that has the line X. Here's what I like more about the bedrug. It is much softer on the knees when having to work or take stuff out of my truck. For some reason stuff does not slide around as much on the bedrug. Also I can do things like take my kids to the drive in and they lay in the back to watch the movies. I foudn the bedrug to be just as durable as the linex with out having to be as permanant. Once they put that on its there when I get rid of the truck. My plan for the bedrug is when I sell the truck, I take it and sell it seperatly. I've put all kinds of stuff on that bed rug and only once has it go a cut. I've had Oil, Gasoline, dirt you name it. I've had it on it. And all I did to clean it up was take it to the local wash place and clean it up. Also when its hot like it gets in texas that linex just heats up somehting fierce. The bedrug is vary bearable in the texas heat. I'm not sure why you want both but for 300 buck you could put it on and when you decide to sell that truck, sell it seperatly and make you a little cash on top. Oh well my two cents. good luck.

I have the line-x with the f-150 bed mat. I love the combination. There are the issues of dropping heaving things and banging up the bed floor. The bed mat fixes that... Line-x, love the look and damn tough...

I just ordered my bedrug about 10 minutes ago. Hopefully it will arrive soon and I can get it installed and give my first hand impression. I have been very impressed by what I have read on this forum. Going from a line-x liner in my last truck to something a little softer on my new truck. I will post pics and impressions when it arrives!

This is exactly what makes the Bedrug great. The dirtiest things I haul in my truck are wheels and tires. I want to make sure the things I put back there don't get scratched, and the Bedrug is the best solution for my needs. Also my tie-downs are still accessible.

The first weekend I had my truck, I removed my advance tonneau cover and went to a drive-in with a bunch of friends; we backed into the spot, threw down some pillows and blankets, and it was a good time for all. Except that it was hard to hear the radio because I have a fixed back glass. Hey, can't win 'em all...
