Post Bed liner for tailgate only??

Hey All,

I'd like to get a plastic liner for just the inside of my tailgate. I got a bed mat from a friend, but I want to protect the gate. Any ideas where and how much for the tailgate plastic liner?

Thanks,

Wingnut

Check with your local Ford dealer. One is available for around $30-$35.

Any auto parts store should be able to get you one. I think they run about $25-$30. I'm not a big fan of the plastic one on my truck. It gets very slippery when wet. I'm thinking of replacing it with one that matches the bed mat.

Thanks guys. I know that they are slick, and actually that is why I want one. I find it easier to slide things on the tailgate and then puch them into the bed. I don't want things to get 'stuck' on the gate. I use my truck in truck pulls and I transfer 50lb and 100lb weights in and out of the bed. It's a heck of a lot easier to slide them than to carry and drop them!

Thanks again for the help.
