Line-X on Westin step bars?

Line-X on Westin step bars?
I'm thinking of having my black Westin step bars sprayed with Line-X. Has anyone seen this done? How does the Line-X clean up after hauling dirt or gravel? I drive a lot of miles on limestone gravel roads and slushy/salty streets, and the bars are starting to show it.

I have never seen steps sprayed with it but they will spray most anything. Cleanup is easy with a power sprayer no problems there. In your case it probably would be something to look into and I think it would look good too.
