Post has any1 removed the bed caps on their F150

Hi i want to get a spray-in or paint-on bedliner and want to remove the bed caps and have that area lined too. has anyone done this does it work and look good.

P.S. I want to leave the caps off after the liner job is done

I think there are a bunch of slots where the tabs on the bed rail caps fit into. I'm not sure how many or how big they are, but you would probably have to fill the holes with something before spraying the liner on. I like the looks of the plastic bed caps, and the truck might look funny without them.

If you remove the caps, when calling around for spray prices, make sure you tell them you want an over the rail job. It costs more, and if you just tell them it's a late model F150 you will get quoted an under the rail price.
