Mat or Liner?
The best answer is a spray on liner (like Rhino). Next choice would be a mat. A lot of people with those expensive plastic liners even put mats in them to stop stuff from sliding around. The mats are eay to clean under too. My Rhino liner's great. It looks good, doesn't allow corrosion, has a lifetime guarantee, and provides a non-slip surface.

yes,go w/a spray on.will cost a little more in the begining but they also increase resale value(NADA/Kelly Blue book)and you can get them color matched to your truck!
good luck

I first bought a mat for my 98 F-150 then bought a drop in, non-slip liner. I had the mat on top of the liner to help keep things in place.
I took both of them out and put them in my 2000. There weren't any scratches on my 98..but there was some rubbing which was not that bad at all.

I don't really haul alot in my truck.
I was wondering if I should get a liner or just go with a mat.
I'm concerned with the liner scratch the bed underneath it.
Any opinions?
Thanks.
