LoNE WoLF...
I've had a BedRug beliner in my truck for about 4 months now and I don't have any complaints. I haven't exactly hauled much of anything back there yet, but they say it is stain and mildew resistant...I guess we'll see after the end of this winter. Stuff doesn't seem to slide around much and if you ever have to crawl around in the bed of your truck, your knees will thank you. It's a little pricey, but it is nice. If you have any specific questions about it, let me know.

To install the BedRug bedliner, you take several strips/pieces very strong, adhesive-backed velcro strips (that come with the bedliner) and stick them to the box and tailgate of the truck as shown in the directions. The bedliner comes from the factory with velcro strips sewn into the underside of the liner, so you simply put the bedliner in place and it attaches quite securly with the velcro. There are two long (3 feet or so) strips that go on the bed and there are two rows of smaller pieces that go around the box and tailgate.
Since it is attached with velcro, I suppose it probably is removable if you really needed to remove it...you'd still be left with several pieces of velro attached to the box/tailgate of your truck though.
I really don't know how it could damage the bed of the truck...the entire bedliner is backed with molded foam and is really quite soft.

I would highly recommend a BedRug.I've had mine since May,and it's perfect for what use it for.I like it because it adds flexibility over rubber or plastic.I also use my truck as a sleeper on road trips or camping, with an A.R.E. cap it makes a habitable shelter.Try that with plastic! The foam is closed cell(non absorbing),the carpet is marine grade, the same stuff used in boats. It will last.I also looked at the Steel Horse carpet liner, but it is not even close in quality, fit and durability. The BedRub has grooves that fit the bottom so you have a truly flat bottom, the others do not. They will even send you a sample. I paid $300 in Pittsburgh for my BedRug. Hope this helps.
