Opinions on brushguards

First off, it's been awhile since I been able to get to this site so I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place? I been thinking about getting a brushguard for my truck. I know this would be able to post a pic on here. So I will try to paint a good mental picture. I have a 99 maroon F150. It is stock height. Front end mods are a Stull Bullet grill, PIAA airdam and a painted (maroon to match) bug guard. I used to have a Bull Bar, but with the air dam (also painted to match) it just didn't look right. I been thinking about getting a brushguard and paint it to match as well. Everyone else has black or chrome and I don't like to look like everyone else. I wouldn't put any lights on the guard since I have red lights (for the fire dept) in the grill.
So how do you guys think this would look? I believe I would go with a Manik. Where would be a good place to get one? Thanks for your help guys. Eric

Eric -

I posted a similar question on the King Ranch forum earlier today. I'm considering the same thing. I have a 02 KR Supercab, Chestnut with Az beige accent. I'm considering a grille guard (haven't decided on the brand name) in either chrome/stainless or painted to match the accent color. I asked for opinions and pics if anyone had any.

You might want to check that forum also.

Good Luck!

Black and Crome Brushguards look nice but I agree that the painted to match stuff looks best. I have painted to match ventshades, bugshield, and taillight covers. Most of my customers dont go with it because of the price though.
