Question Rubbing from an OEM Bug Deflector

OK What is the deal with the OEM (as I am sure aftermarket as well) bug deflectors rubbing the paint on the top of the grill where the hood meets. I had my truck for 2 weeks and as a result of the OEM bug deflector rubbing the paint I now have permanent rub marks. Does anyone have a solution before it rubs any further??!!

Thanks!!

I had a Bugflector that did the same thing and could not adjust anything enough to prevent the rubbing, so I got rid of it and bought a Lund Trident. It is great.

Smile Thanks for the input

Thanks for the input. One question, how does the Trident differ in design that it won't rub like OEM?

Lightbulb Hood Post Bumpers

Thanks for the idea on the hood post bumpers. How high do you go without the hood line with the fender not being effected?
