Question snapped cover - easy solution?

Hi everyone.

I'm wondering if anyone has some good suggestions for getting a snapped cover back on? I know that I have to wait for a sunny (warm) day but I'm wondering if anyone has had a good experience using a tool of some sort for the pulling?!

I was thinking a hairdryer might soften them up a bit more - especially in winter - but it's such a pain in the butt! Anyone have any good suggestions? (other than pulling and stretching the cover until you feel like your fingers might fall off...and two or three of the buttons always seem to remain unsnapped?)

Also, is it better to do the snaps over the tailgate first and then the ones down the side or vice versa?? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!
Sarah

Cover

Sarah, My experince with those type of covers is there are different slots on the bow supports for summer and winter. In the colder months put the supports in the bottom or lower slots so you will have less tension on the cover and make it easier to snap. In hotter weather you usually need to move them up so when the cover expands it will take out the slack. As I remember it is easier if two people snap it at the same time starting at the front and moving back. Hope this helps.

With my cover, I start at the center of the tailgate and work out. When the ones on the tailgate are done then work towards the cab.
