I think that the HD grille is a great mod for the SuperCrew. I have spoken to my local dealer, and he advises tha the 01 part is $340.00 and the 02 part is $212.00, but he is not aware of any differences betweeen the two.

To save some loot, does anyone know of any reason I couldn't use the 02 HD grille with the black surround/chrome insert on my 01 black Screw? The body shop guys indicated that the mounting plates look identical, so I think it should be compatible.

Also, who has the best price on this? Ford parts Online quoted $165.00 plus $30.00 shipping.

Your guys at the shop are right. The 02 HD grille fits perfectly into the 01 Screw (as I have done this mod already... see sig at bottom) It was a complete and perfect swap out. The big diff. I see between the 01 and 02 HD grille is the no. of chrome slots... mainly an appearance thing. The 02 has like 7 thicker slots... IMO looks nicer. Hope that helps

Did you buy your grill from a local dealer, or find it cheaper elsewhere? Also, is there a market for my used grill (in perfect shape, I may add!)?

I got mine from a friend who works at a local dealership and he applied his 'discount' to it. So, i got mine for $154 total. Its a nice benefit to have friend in that business. I think fordpartsonline.com has good prices.

I actually sold my old grill to a guy who had a post in the classifieds looking for a grill... used that money to pay for the new one. Good Luck
