I put the indicator lights in my console above the cup holders.

They give off alot of light, I had to put a black cover over the top half of them to shield part of the light.

They come in clear, green, red, blue.

They also have other LED lights you might want to try, take a look around under the LED lights menu, and the ones I am talking about are the URL : Indicator / bulkhead.

The nice thing is they are LED, so they are low amp draw, and can be connected to the instrument lights, so they dim ( if you want that action ).

I have a switch for the LEDs just below the dash retractable cup holders so I can turn them off if I don't need them.

Just something else to try.

 

Have you considered Cold Cathode Neon's? They are longer, thinner in diameter and 5 times brighter then standard Neon. They come in lots of colors including UV ( black light ). About $20-$45 depending on what you want. Comes with switch and inverter.

Yeah, them cathodes are really neat! I especially like the red one. I bought some glowing dice for my mirror... but they must have broke when I shipped em up here so I am just using them as regular dice right now. However I would really like to get some red ones that work. If anyone knows of any please post a link!

as for the black lights, I don't think its riced but maybe dangerous..
