Im not sure were to begin, with installing the new lenses, i know i have to buy yellow bulbs, but the actual install im not sure of. I dont have them in my possetion, just wondering if i have to remove the frame around the lights first. Im hoping its just some screws. If anyone can shine some light on this, id be helpful, thanks!

 

You should already have the amber lights from the factory there. Removal is really easy. Look right or left behind the headlight area(depending on side) with the hood up and you will see a Torx screw behind where the turn signal is up on the inner fender. Un-screw that screw and wiggle the light straight out from its installed position. Remove the harness/bulb by twisting it out of socket, install it in new clears and re-install. There are some alignment tabs on the light that need to be ligned up for it to slide back in. Slide it back in and re-install the screw and your all set.

2000FordStyle pretty much summed it up.

I installed the APC clear corners in about 10 minutes (including getting out my tools).

The APC's came with their own amber bulbs. I put them in my tool box and used the existing ones. I was surprised to see that Ford had installed ambers from the factory. Once you remove that one torx screw it's a piece of cake.

When I installed the clear corners on my Screw,I replaced the amber bulbs with white ones....the yellow showed thru the clear lenses.....

Did I goof?????? Do I need to change back to the amber bulbs???? Am I going to jail???? Help, I am so confused........
