Question Anyone Know about 4wheelparts.com

I was looking at a website called 4wheelparts.com, according to the website, they have been around for years and I have seen ads in different magazines for them. They seem to have great prices and a good selection of products. Can you guys tell me your experiences with them. Thanks.

Bought my Procomp AT's and Rancho 9000's from there. Seem to be good to deal with and you get a pretty decent magazine from them everyother month after you order.

Thumbs up chwelch-

Good company, good customer service, and in-stock merchandise.

I bought my Edelbrock IAS shocks over the counter from them. Nice people...good service. However, they only had 2 of the 4 shocks in the store and had to get the other 2 from their warehouse. There was a $10 surcharge for their truck to deliver the 2 shocks from their warehouse to the store. Now think about how many customer-ordered products come in on their truck every week and add up the surcharge profit they make.
Call me cheap, but I told them to cancel the order as I was not going to pay the $10. The manager walked up and said he would reimburse me the surcharge if I still wanted the shocks.

I have noticed that the website has higher prices than in their own stores. I have bought from the store and from the website (when the store didn't carry a product but the website did ???) Not bad either way. Good service / quick delivery.

Check out Truckperformance.com. I have noticed that some items are cheaper than 4wheelparts.com

4wheelparts.com is a fairly good store. Only problem I have is they're getting more expensive on some things now. Its not bad for me cause I get a 10% discount at their stores, but for some things I'm starting going other places.

Also stay away from truckpreformance.com Do a search on here and you'll see all the horror stories of people being charged for a product and the company saying that they have no record of the order and things taking months and months to come in. Trust me theres TONS of these stories, very disreputable business.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the help guys. I just ordered about $1000 worth of parts from 4wheelparts.com tonight and I am glad that they seem to be a trustworthy company with good customer relations.

I have dealt with truckperformance.com before and NEVER will agian, i ordered my parts and the didn't ship them put... 2 weeks later I called and they said they didn't get the order but still charged my credit card for the stuff... after about 3 months I got it worked out and my money back. I wouldn't ever recomend anyone using this company.
