I was driving the other day and scoped this sweet 4x4 flareside and when I started investigating a little closer, I found that he had taken off the badge on the tailgate that says f150. He had replaced it with the badge that comes on the HD 150. It has f150 and out from that was a harley emblem with f150 in the middle of it. This might be a simple accessory that can be purchased, but I don't have any idea where to start. I'm sure that it can be ordered through the dealer, but we all know how that goes. If someone know's of a place or even a part # would be greatly appreciated. Like I said, I think this is the badge that comes on all of the HD trucks from the factory.

 

I have seen plenty of them on ebay. Just search under f150 harley and you should find them there. Not sure about price compared to the dealer though. Hope this helps.

BUT - regardless, you'll have to find one from eBay or elsewhere. Ford keeps strict control on the HD labeled parts, we have to submit a VIN and registration info when we order them!!

I don't know where the eBay merchants are getting them or if they're genuine, but we cannot order many HD parts "for stock", they must be for a specific vehicle!

 

Sometimes it's not what you know....

 

My dealer had one last wek. I am not sure if it was the one for the back of the truck or the sides and he was laughing saying " Come on Joey, It only goes for $130, you got it!!!!"
