I really like the Keystone Good Hood. Anyone know of anywhere I can get a good price on one of those. I searched the internet but could only find them for $600. I think that's alot for a hood.

Cool

I sent an e-mail to Keystone, and they sent the name of a few dealers, they may or may not be the ones you've already found though. Proglass sells them directly, too I believe. I tried e-mailing them, but they're e-mail is not working(got it back) I believe Proglass is the actual maker of the hood, though. Here's the dealers!!,,,,98

JA_Stang86, about the hood you originally posted at the top of the thread:

I don't care for it too much. I have always thought that if I had a front-end wreck it would be a great oppurtunity to get an aftermarket hood but, if offered I'd have to pass on that one.

I kind of expect to see some nosehair.
I know, I know, they would just be wires but, I would still be inclined to clip them and then the truck wouldn't start.

Thumbs down

You're right! I could not find a price under $585! That was Godfather Customs. They were much lower priced the last time I priced those hoods. Must be some kind of conspiracy, lol!,,,,,98

hdf150...you can go to the cervinis website.. www.cervinis.com.. they are found in all the trucking magazines.
The optional ram air kit that goes with the ram air hood, i'm told will only work on a lightning intake box. I didnt get the kit as my kb blower does its job...the ram air nostrils cool down the top a bit... and i didnt want to spend about 250 for a lightning box.

Here's one I haven't seen anyone post before. A '67 Shelby GT-500 hood. I've never seen a photo of the hood on an F-150, but the web site has plenty of pix of Super Duty's. I also like the Keystone Goodhood, but I'm not thrilled with fiberglass. I'll wait for a steel or aluminum version.

Web site is: www.usbody.com.

This one's for an F-150.

One of the many SD pictures.

THANK YOU hdf150painter for posting that pic!

I've got that hood on order, & yours is the first pic I've seen of the new, grooved Reflexxion hood.

Looks fantastic!!

As a big plus, it's also the first photo I've found of either style shown above a real Harley grille, which is what I'm using. Mine was removed from a 2000 HD which had a scuff in the outer shell's paint. Doesn't matter to me since I'll be painting it green anyway. I've had it stored for over a year waiting to do the whole job!
