i got a 1999 F-150 4.2L XL Sport 2wd.... what is the difference in the Sport model and the regular model besides the red letters spelling "sport" by the back tail lights on both sides of the truck?

 

well mine has the mirors that come with like an xlt that are color matched, painted bumpers, a different grill(not the honeycomb style), 60/40 or is it 40/60 seat(not a bench). thats all i can think of right now.

 

it also comes with the 17" rims and tires, the same that come on the off road package. the bench seat is also made of a different material than reg bench seats.

 

Does the Sport get a 3:73 rearend too?

 

i got the 3:55's. i got the xl sport im not sure if there is a diff. between the xl and xlt sport. mine had the 16" wheels, and the seat was not a bench it was a bucket for the driver and pass. and the middle console thing is atatched to the pass seat. maybe i was way off on the 60/40 thing

- I got captain chairs in mine

 

although anyone familiar with Neal's old signature knows that his truck is not quite the Sport as it used to be...
