Painted dash do it yourself???

I've seen member like dog leg and such that have sanded and painted thier dash, steering wheel column, door handle background, door panel surround and the like. Well I know some of you have successfully done this themselves with time and a few parts from the local automotive store. And I have spring break coming up next week and was wanting to take on a project like this during me free time. So basically I was wanting instructions and a detailed supply list to take on a project like this. My email is F150Aggie@yahoo.com or you can post on here with them or lead me to a site that has the info, Any help woulod be greatly appreciated

I did mine just last week!

I went to the parts store and got some fine grit sandpaper
sanded down the parts and cleaned them off with just water!

Then i took an alcohol swab to them to make sure all of the dash baord protectant was off them

Next i went to Wal-Mart, Back in the crafts section and bought some plastic primer!

Then came home folowed the strict directions on the primer can and painted away!!
