I LOVE the hood, but the rest of the truck has gotta go! I'd LOVE to be able to get an L in that color!

Thanks for the pics, GI. No sarcasm intended.

However, I gotta say this....RICE-O-LICIOUS!

Yello panel covers and wheel? "Like, gag me with a spoon!"

Whoever authorized that to sit on the lot needs to be demoted to a Chevy or Harley dealership.

It's all right. Like the others said. Loose the steps and maybe the body cladding add a billet grill and some kind of power improvement and they might get me to buy one, otherwise I'll stick to my wish of a lightning. I guess somebody will like it enough to buy one.

that makes it look alot better, maybe because it looks more like an L, no if it had the speed of an L it would probley be abloe to sell for that price

GIJoeCam, that must be the one I saw at Southgate Ford also. The hood is made by Reflexxion. I believe it's steel and not fiberglass. Personally, i don't like it. The other one that they posted pics on in the Lightning forum has the Cervini's ram air hood. That one I like. To each is own though.

I do like the yellow color though. I still don't understand why Ford doesnt come out with that on the Lightning. So many people want that color.

It does look much better lowered! It would never have made it up that curb without an airbag setup, though,,,,,,98

The Lightning? A performance vehicle? What exactly makes the Lightning a performance vehicle? The supercharger? (Take the heaviest vehicle on the road (with minimal to absolutely NO handling), toss in a supercharger and maybe a redesigned exhaust, and PRESTO-- you are King Of The Hill. PLEASE ---SOMEBODY PASS ME MY MEDS. LMFAO.
I love trucks just as much as the next guy, but the only reason the Lightning even exists is because thats where they found a market that hadn't been tapped before. Ford isnt the only ones guilty of that-- GM and Chrysler have done the same thing as well. They are all sharp looking trucks, no doubt about that. But sorry guys-- I dont get this "LETS SUPERCHARGE MY FRONT END LOADER so I too can be ALL THAT.
I also realize that not everybody can afford a performance car AND a truck, so I understand the market need. BUT--- all this arguing about what truck is junk and what isnt (simply because its fast or not) is really laughable. What's next? Are we supercharging our John Deere lawnmowers and arguing which one is faster? Or maybe we can rebuild our weed whackers with a really high output model plane motor and be the "baddest on the block". LMFAO.
