I just want to know if the 97 4x2 has the bumper with a 2000 4x2 f150? And if i can swap the two?

i want to buy a new bumper becasue someone hit my car in the parking lot, so now the bumper in not level. One side it about inch higher than the other side.

if you change the bumper, then you also have to change the grill because it sweeps down lower on the 99 and up.

 

I believe that 97 bumper and grille were unique to that one year. If you want to swap either one you'll have to also change the bumper, grille, and front bodywork from the fenders forward.
