White Trucks!

I'am fixing to dress up my 2002 Screw and was needing some input. It's an Supercrew 4x4 FX4 that's white with a dark gray/silver bottom. For you owners of white trucks, riddle me this:

#1. Black or Chrome grill guard? Chrome looks nice, but it's more expensive, but black might go with the dark gray bottom better. Which do you prefer on your trucks?

#2. Nerf Bars or seperate steps ie 4 individual ones for each door?

#3. Plastic or metal nerfs/steps? Plastic wouldn't chip, metal looks better and it physically more solid.

#4. If you have a nice grill guard (That will fit big foglights), what do you use? Any recommendations?

#5. Do you prefer a lightbar or grill guard?

Thanks for any suggestions!

I personally perfer chrome. I just installed chrome Westin nerf bars on my white over silver screw. I think the chrome ties in nicely with my wheels and the chrome in the bumpers. I think the nerf bars look much better than the hoop style steps or running boards, but to each his own. As a matter of fact, I removed my OEM running boards in favor of the nerf bars. I thing I really think looks bad is when people miss match their nerf bars and grill guards ( one chrome, one black). So which ever you chose, I would suggest getting the same finish on both. As for grill guards, I think the euro style and the prerunner style both look good on F150s

I have white over Arizona Beige and have Westin Chrome nerf bars and am now in the market for the right grill guard. I will be buying chrome or SS. It definitely looks better on a white truck. IMO. Check out this site for bars and guards. I just discovered this and have not heard of them before on this site. They look bad to the bone and are polished SS, one piece. Good luck with your search and remember: do what you think looks good, its your truck.....
