Can anyone tell me how to remove the plastic trim piece that runs down the inside drivers side of the windshield. This covers the windshield post on the inside. I'm trying to route some wires from the rear view mirror to under the dash and need to remove this piece..

No need to remove the trim....route the wire above the headliner til you get to the side, then make the transition to the trim piece but, bring your wire to the outside of the trim(outside of the truck) there you will see a black rubber trim that follows the plastic...tuck your wire behind it and down to the dash where you can bring them inside or under the dash.
