Clear Corners from Autodynamic.com
I ordered a set of clear corners from Autodynamic.com a few weeks ago. When they finally came in, they did not fit my truck. I looked at the set that I ordered and they were the right ones but they sent me the wrong ones. I e-mailed them asking to exchange them and they said they would with a 20% restocking fee!!! I know many people here have been to and bought many items from Autodynamic.com so I'm not going to sit here and bash them. What I do want to know is, was I possibly mistaken in the clear corners that I needed. The stock corners that I have on now have three holes. The ones that were sent to me had two holes and a slot near the top. I know the 97's had two different light fixtures based on when they were made. I need the 3 hole so does that mean I can use the corners from 7/97 and up, or the 6/96 -- 7/97? Where can I get a set of clear corners that have the 3 holes and KNOW that I'm getting the set with 3 holes? Thanks!
Oh by the way, rather than send the corners back and be charged the restock fee, I'm going to post them on e-bay or maybe even the classified ads here. If you want them though, you can just let me know and we'll work something out. I paid $30 for them.

SOunds like the smae deal I went through with them
I ordered a set of clear cornors from them and got the wrong ones. I knew exactly what I wanted and needed and even ordered the right thing. I had wanted a set on standard (not euro clear) cornors for a early model 97. The early model cornors come out with the headlight assembly and have three screws that attach the cornor to the headlight housing. Well the ones they sent were the wuro clear and they were for the newer style that comes out seperate and has one screw holding it in. I just calmly called them up and told them that every thing was wrong and I wanted to exchange them if possible. She perfectly understood what it was that I needed but she said she would just send me the return authorization. She emailed me the info within a couple of hours and I went to the post office and sent them pack priorty mail for like 6.30 insured. About a week or two later I I seen the credit on my bank statement for the full amount. If I remember correctly the 20 restock fee only applied to certain items and the clear cornors were not one of them, but I'm not sure. If I was you I would call and complain a little that what you got is all wrong and shouldn't be charged the fee and just eat the loss of return shipping. I had good things on them too, just had that one bad deal with them. Would I use them again? Maybe, but I would call ahead and talk to someone about it all and get a guarantee that I can return with no fee if not the right thing.
