guages
guages
i would like to get some white guages for my truck. The only problem is i have no tach and i cant find any that fit my style. Anyone know where i can get white guages with no tacvh and 2 guages on each side? I hate my guages cause i have a manual and no tach but oh well.
Just a suggestion, but I believe Trenz makes an overlay for those with no tach. If you like the full white face, just paint it flat white. Or,,if you like the seperate gauge look(like me) paint it black. You could even get something custom painted, or engraved in the empty space

Whew!
Lots of questions
It's okay, I'm used to them. Thanks for the compliments first off, it's alot of work. It's stock suspension wise, nothing done,,,,yet
The front bumper is a stock work truck style piece, also the same one Ford used on the STX. It's also the cheapest bumper available, too. It cost about $140, and $120 to paint. It isn't a Ford bumper, though. If you look in the phone book, or ask around at a few independent bodyshops, you should be able to find an aftermarket body part supplier. The usual term is called "crash parts" and they are made overseas. The quality is good enough to pass as original though, sometimes. The bottom of the bumper(air dam) came from Stillen, and was a little pricey at $180. http://www.stillen.com
The front grill is a used stock piece, I actually got it at a bodyshop for $50!! I had originally gone in for an estimate to get the airdam painted and got extremely lucky. Good luck finding one for that price, but these trucks are finally starting to show up at junkyards. You never know what you can find if you look around. My trucks front end started out all chrome too, but I had to "fix" it, lol. As for bumper extension, you mean the lower part of the bumper?
If it is, then it would look fine. It's all a matter of what you can afford, and what you like. I can tell you this, though. A painted front bumper is kind of a pain to keep up, they're chip magnets to say the least. I have to touch it up all the time. The foglights are Pilot PL240's, and are at Autozone for about $50 a pair. Hope I answered all your questions, and have fun customizing your truck. The stares are worth it

Lots of questions in this post... here's a few more
Where is the best place to buy white face. speed-glo, or the 5 color guages faces? Second where can I get the Trenz overlay or any other good brand of overlay? Thanks
As far as i know nobody makes the white gauges without the tach. I looked into it and the guy at NuImage who makes those flame gauges said he could make a custom set but at a hefty price of $320. Ive even thought of buying a set of overlays then just cutting out the gauges as needed but im still thinking about that.

but ive never called about one, maybe they just show the most common one who knows
