Hid kit installment hel

I just got an hid kit I ordered through a audio shop for a F150 2001 and it's a Gen 4 kit so it has the harness and good stuff. So I was wondering if any body could walk me through the steps I know it only come with one headlight connecter . Once I have everything plugged I'm left with one connecter from one of the bulbs so I'm stuck there. I believe it's a bit xenon kit but the package it came in says race sport need help please a walk through the would help

Hid kit installment hel

I recently bought an hid kit for a 2001 F150 but I'm having trouble connecting the plugs I guess in the right ports. I've seen that it only comes with one headlight connecter then it just connects to the ballast and everything else. Once I plug the harness in to the battery and everything is plugged in I'm left with one connecter from one of the hid bulbs. I'm asking if anybody could walk me through it'd be nice please. It's a Gen4 kit I believe it's bi xenon but the package says race sport

Here's what proper harness connections look like:

How aboot posting pics of whut ye have, exactly?

BTW - any chance o' returnin' it? And buying a proper projector retrofit from here : www.theretrofitsource.com

The kit ye have is junk - that's the truth. And it will provide both poor lighting performance, AND glare the deekens outta everyone approaching you.

Read this: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...nversions.html

Have a look in our Illumination & Lighting forum - look at the stickies.

BTW - why not get support form the place you bought it from? If they won't - or can't - that should tell you something.

good luck

MRod, why don't you follow MGD's advice and post pictures like he asked? I'm sure people will be able to help you if you help us understand your problem.
