window tint
I do all my own tinting with pre-cut films from FilmVantage on eBay. They sell quality stuff by 3M, BlackBoxTint, Llumar, and Suntek.
As far as easy, I suggest looking up some youtubes of tint installations and judge for yourself. The youtube account "TintStuff" is a good channel, little kid knows his stuff and has plenty of videos of how-tos. Heat shrinking is the biggest skill however it is almost never needed for truck/SUV windows. Mostly the very curvy car windows.
It is a practice of patience and speed. There are also an array of hand tools also needed to do the job correctly. If you are looking to do it to save on costs I would almost suggest having a shop do it. If you want to learn and plan to do it on other vehicles, or future vehicles, give it a shot and learn the skill.
Here is me tinting my own truck. After fighting with my door panel seals enough and re-tinting a couple times before hand I removed my panels to avoid the issue overall. Normally never needed but the '04+ seals sit really low.
