Lightbulb Roush Billet Gas Door

Hey guys seen a few of you fellow F 150onliner's have these on your awesome rides! I saw a few and just looked up the eBay auction for a 1999 F 150 Roush truck owned by Mark Martin. It has the gas door I am looking for, so here is what I need to know...... Where to get the best looking gas door for the money?

Thanks SHowYA in Kansas City

Hey Showya,
JC Whitney carries the billet fuel doors for $90 plus shipping,it's the cheapest price I've seen. You can pick one of their catalogs up at most magazine racks,cheap,,,,,98

What about the Mustang Bullit's?! They are less than that. I think I'll order one and see how it'll fit.

It uses the same holes that the stocker uses, it really is a replacement piece. It has plastic clips on one side, and uses the 2 screw holes that the factory one uses on the other.

Hey there guys, this is what I have figured out, there is a difference between the Style, Flare, and SuperCrew bedside panels there for there is a differ fuel door for each. Now I am really stumped here, guess I will wait for Roush door and see how it fits then huh?

Thanks and keep those replys coming.......

Hey there guys and gals, thanks for all the replies here online! Here is what I have, after talking to the guy at Roush Performance, he told me that they are selling the Bullitt piece from the Stang. He also told me they would only work on a styleside bed, so he said. I picked my Bullitt assembly up this morning on the way home from work at the 24 Hour Ford Truck center and paid less than $80 bucks. This piece is awesome, and looks so sweet. Now I need to know is there any tricks here or shortcuts for installation on my flareside bed. Thanks and pics are only a few days away now. I also have a Street Scene Speed Grille up for grabs. Anyone L@@king for one send me an email and let's talk, I bought a Harley insert from a guy who swapped over to a real billett grille recently. Have yourself a good one now!

Hi!

I installed my Bullitt 'Stang billet fuel filler door a few weeks ago on my '98 Flareside. For my application, it required installing a pair of small nylon washers/spacers underneath the mounting "ring." Fortunately, the supplied Allen screws are long enough to accommodate the spacers and I secured the lid using nylocks, which I also purchased separately. I used the spacers to "level" the door to make it fit flush w/ the contours of the truck. W/O the spacers, the lid dipped in slightly where it attached to the body. The billet door looks great on a white truck!
